SSI believes in developing a strong internal-external partnership with our clients.
This program is designed for the organization's "internal consultants" from talent management, organizational development and others who are responsible for coaching, facilitating or teaching and would like to incorporate the power of The Birkman Method® into their existing work.
The initial objective of "Train the Trainer" is to teach you how to provide individual feedback on a person's Birkman Method® profile.
To ensure that you can meet this objective, you learn how to:
Explain the construct behind the method.
Define each of the categories that are measured by the Birkman.
Translate data into real-world examples.
Interpret scoring patterns.
Link the various reports in a cohesive manner.
Identify a person's key areas for development.
The learning environment of our "Train the Trainer" sessions is highly interactive. To promote retention, we have participants immediately test their knowledge through small group breakout sessions, case studies and exercises.
Prior to attending the program, participants are asked to have a person who knows them very well – typically a spouse, sibling or close friend – complete the profile. That person’s report, as well as the participant’s own, is used as a learning tool to help participants understand and interpret the data.
The investment to attend a "Train the Trainer" program includes:
A comprehensive reference manual on The Birkman Method
Your personal Birkman reports
The personal Birkman reports of your case study
All classroom materials
Two practice reports to use post-program to further develop your skills
Two hours of coaching, post-program, to answer your questions and to foster a successful start using the methodology
