Birkman® Master Coach Training Overview

The skilled coach knows there is an art and a science to this discipline. The art comes from years of experience in working with people and knowing how to help clients move toward greater success in their personal and professional lives. For the science, coaches have relied on numerous assessments to provide them with data on the unique characteristics of their clients.

SSI's Master Coach training program integrates the best that science can offer with the coach's instincts and people skills to ensure the highest-quality experience for the client.

The foundation of the SSI Master Coach program is the premier assessment tool available today, The Birkman Method®. The instrument is based on more than 50 years of research gathered through a straightforward but detailed questionnaire participants fill out online in about 30 minutes.

"Over the past six years, using Birkman® to profile many of my clients has been a sound basis for both individual executive coaching and top team development. Even the most cynical candidates have found the information invaluable and vital for improving their work performance and results."
    - Pauline Crawford, Managing Director, Corporate Heart Ltd.
